A RevolutionAfter looking at a lot of the recent announcements, and the big hot topic issue yesterday, I really think this whole news issue needs to be addressed.
:devlolly: stated in his News Article that, it is up to us, the community, to give deviantART its reputation. Think of all the news members coming in, outside sources, and professional artists. If they see all of this shameless self promotion and other crap, they would not want to be a member of this art site. We do not want them to get the wrong opinion
What can we, the community, do?
We can flush out all of those crappy articles with good ones. We need to write articles that have a meaning

A Touch of the FantasticFantasy - Imagery that is more or less coherent, as in dreams and daydreams, yet unrestricted by reality.
Surreal - Having an oddly dream-like quality.
Fantasy and surreal - two very popular styles of art. Certainly my two favorites, especially with photomanipulations! So much stuff of these styles gets submitted, though!
So what I will do is try to bring to light some of the gems that have recently been submitted to the photomanipulation galleries that are either fantasy, surrealism, or both. Not everything here is actually from those two categories, but they all contains elements of the fantastic or the surreal. Give these pieces a look
